Birthdays!

January was a full month! There was at least two birthdays every week!

One being mine! :)
My Hubby got me these! LOVE HIM!

Then it was My Baby's 4th Birthday :') bitter sweet really. For his birthday he wanted Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle theme. So I hit Pinterest for some great ideas!
Some Ooze made of Jello
Sewer lids, Munchies...
Nunchucks!

It was a hit! All the little kids loved it!
They ate all of it so fast I didn't get any pictures of it till they devoured most of it!

We also ordered Pepperoni pizza because that's the ninja turtle favorite!

In the end we had a blast and Baby (I guess he is really a big boy now 😢) got lots of toys and was wiped out by the end of the day!

DIY BOWS!

Bows! I love bows, I see them everywhere! I am in a phase where I want to make Bow ties and Hair Bows and Neck Ties. The problem with that is I have an Oklahoma boy. A boy who doesn't want to wear Bow Ties or Neck Ties and wouldn't be caught dead in a Hair Bow! BUT I do have a sister :) My little sister is Ten years younger than I am so she looks super cute in everything! I will hopefully get my son to try on the neck ties but if not she shall be my model!

This post is about Hair Bows! (Sorry if I get some typos I am posting from my phone)

This bow is not quite completed because I ran out of glue.

What you need:
Glue (Hot glue gun or E6000)

Lace or any fabric really (11x11 in)

One strip of same or contrasting fabric (2x5??) I cut mine too long.

Scissors or rotary cutter.

Step one:

Cut the strip and the square

Step Two:

Fold in half (I am going with color now because it's easier to see)

Step Three:

Fold in the sides.

Step Four:
Scrunch!

Step Five:
Fold your strip in half and wrap around the scrunched part.

Glue the end. DONE!

Also: On the second step if you fold each side toward the middle it hides the edges. Like so:

Then follow the rest of the steps.

I will be posting more with other fabrics:) and when I'm done I'll post my pics of my model!

The Holidays!

Yay! We are finally done with the holidays, but not quite with birthdays. :/ on the plus side Monday is my birthday! Yay me! I will be updating a lot here in the next couple weeks. I am going through some hard times and I feel this would be a good outlet. I am starting to feel sad again. Even though this is a very happy time for my family because it is the holidays and we have soooo many birthdays and my anniversary is coming up, it is also a very hard one for me. So I am officially going completely anonymous on this blog so that I can vent my feelings, show my ups and downs and not get any backlash :) lol!
