DIY Hairspray!

Today i am just doing this simple post because I am down with a back injury! I slipped on a Transformer and did a Charlie Brown! Landed right smack on my back! Any how! I recently have committed myself to being a better overall person. Better health. Better attitude....LOVE. PEACE. HERBALIFE... etc etc. In doing so I have found that I like to make my own products because i know whats in them! Have you read the back of your hairspray bottle recently? YUCK! So i went on a search of good ol' Pinterest and found a couple different recipes. What i found in common were Water, Sugar, Essential Oils, and Alcohol.
Here is the gist of it. The more Sugar the better hold and the Essential Oils are not needed but they make it smell nice and the Alcohol is not really needed either but is nice for keeping your hair from getting oily! So lets get started on how i made mine!

What you need:
Spray bottle ( Dollar Tree works just fine)
Sugar (as much as you want i did roughly 3Tablespoons
Water
Essential Oils (any kind you like is fine!)
Alcohol  ( I didn't use it in mine simply cause i was out)

  1. Fill your spray bottle with water!
  2. Pour the water into a pot and heat right until it starts to boil
  3. Take it off the heat and add the sugar!
  4. Stir.
  5. WAIT TILL IT COOLS
  6. Once cooled you can poor it into your bottle.
  7. Add the Essential Oils
Shake and VOILA your done!

I have also Found that you can add things like Lemon and It'll lighten your hair at the same time!

When applying I suggest letting it dry a little between applications.

Sorry there are not any pictures yet! As soon as i feel better I'll update with pics!
If you have ANY questions feel free to ask!
